Nullah News 01

After my survey of the proposed public space, the Nullah that runs through it, is my focus for this project. In the midst of my research I came across this related news article and thought of sharing it. Please comment.

dear baptits
great research that you were doing, both on public space in mumbai in generell, as well as the situatin near sharmilas studio. i specially like the news section, where you confront or expand observed situations with cut outs form newspapers. a good way to include "the public" (or better the media making public opinion) in your subjective observations!

Is nullah a word for a small creek or channel? is it built to give natural water way a flow line or is it designed to transport wastewater?
Anyway good choice to focus on the Nullahs for the project. Please tell me more about it, especially where and how it is connected to households? (i know now that it is at least connected by window to the Thane mall!)

I am looking forward to see your ideas on intervening in//with them.

i will add some images from berlinwaste-water disposals.

keep on uploading! its great
